Massachusetts-based musician and songwriter MB Padfield might be one of the world’s proudest and most self-aware square pegs. At one point, she thought she wanted to be a doctor so she started taking college classes at 14 years old, cramming six years of school into two. By the time she was 16, however, she was a full-time working musician, and that should tell you everything you need to know. A person who has always lived life on her terms, it’s little wonder that that life took some interesting and, at times, tumultuous turns along the way.
